What are good Leaf Springs that woudl give a 85 toyota really good flex with out being over 4 inches. I dont want to do spring swaps or anything like that. would longer springs be better or springs that go into stock location? Downey...are those any good? All Pros (not in stock locations) better? i have small buget and am looking at 3 inch downey springs that mount in stock locations or 4 inch all pros that have me buy springs hangers and a bunch of other stuff that i dont even know ill need or not. i need lots of help.

Have you checked out northwestoffroad.com? They have 3 1/2 inch springs. I don't know how they flex or anything. You have to call for the prices but it would be worth checking into. aor4x4.com also has good springs and I think you can have them custom made to fit the stock location, although longer springs will be flatter and offer better flex.

AllPro's or AOR's if you want some flex. Stay away from Downey and NWOR.

AllPro's or AOR's if you want some flex. Stay away from Downey and NWOR. i am curious to why you would say that. i had downey springs, and they worked great for me. i got a lot more flex than stock, and their priced well. they did sag a little after some heavy loads though.

I had Downey's on my p/u many moons ago, they were very stiff. Maybe they've improved over the years?
Their and NWOR's service left a lot to be desired also. A lot of people complain abou AP's service also, but I've never had a problem wit them.
Just my .02. As always YMMV.
