A/C compressor compatibility

my A/C compressor is bad, and i live in florida so it sucks when it's raining, my truck has been parked in the sun or anytime i drive it under 25mph.... so there is an A/C compressor from an 85 toyota celica on ebay.. will it fit? it says it will fit 83-85 celicas, 22r/22re..

or basically, will most engine items from one 22R swap to another 22R regardless of model, since it's the same engine? (besides transmission and other components obviously different between 4x4 and car)

You need to find out if the compressor is from a carborated or efi but either way I don't believe it will work I could be wrong but according to scematics they are dif size compressors

i didn't go through with the auction n e ways... i got a hydraulic pipe bender instead ... tools are more important then a/c, even in the hot summers here in florida. but thanks for the info that the sizes are different and stuff, i'll just wait until i find one from a p/u or 4 runner for sure.- BeN² 82 p/u
