build up questions

i just got my yota (82,22r,4wheeler) and im just now starting to think about building it up. I notice it lacks in power but its small. i need advice on a good set up for my truck and maybe some ways to get some more power out of it.

any advise is appreciated

Header and low restriction exhaust.
Mild cam.
Bigger carb.
