does anyone know if a distributor off of a 85 celica GT 22r automatic would work on my 85 toyota 4x4 22r? I think it would work but I was unsure about the automatic tranny. I have the manual 5.

In my experience, I have found that most parts work straight across as long as they are from the same motor. Only a couple of very specific parts don't work from the Automatic to the Manual. I believe you shouldn't have a problem with the distributor as far as I can remember but it's been a while.
