I just ordered my ifs mount plate for my steering box from Marlin Crawler $ 69.01 total. Ordered my Crossover Steering kit from Trail Gear $299.00 total. Ordered 5" front springs stock length with extended brake lines $ 359.00 plus shipping. The people at all pro said there stock length springs had alot of flex to them to be stock length. Tomorrow I'm going to order my ifs steering box from Sky manufacturing.
Next will be rear springs and front shock hoops probably from all pro. Then rims, tires, and gears.
I plan to run 35x15.50x15 tsl sx's on 15x12's you think that will work good with 5" of susp. lift and 3" bodylift?

That's beyond enough lift for 35's. I run 35's on my 4runner with only 3" suspension lift and some trimming. Why so much lift?

We'll see how it does. And some trimming!!! I'm not trimming shit. The tires will clear completely and totally offroad and on road or more lift will be added. I'm not into the self clearance thing.

I just never have been into cutting on any of my truck. I don't know man I guess I'm a perfectionist. I want it to look un altered i guess. I dont know just dont like cut up fenders or bedsides.

That's a mighty wide tire your talking about dude! Unless you get some killer offset on your rims it's going to hit the frame in the back. Since you are running stock length front springs, you might run into rubbing issues on the back inside of the wheel well. But I don't know for sure since I didn't go that route. It's always fun to get parts! UPS knows me pretty well right now, I have more parts sitting around then I have time to install and I have more on the way! I am debating whether I want to go with tires wider then 12.50's because I want Pit Bull's and they are all pretty wide but I don't want to compromise my flex by hitting the frame or be forced to go with wheel spacers that will compromise my turning radius. Good luck!

They pit bulls look pretty bad man but I have heard they are really heavy. I have the nitto mud grapplers on my superduty and there pretty bad tires. I'm not sure what all sizes they come in but I have the 38x15.50x18's and they have been great so far.

You want it to look unaltered with 8" of lift? Okaaay. Less lift is better for offroad anyway because you keep a lower center of gravity. That is unless you used it in deep mud, then it would be beneficial to keep the body and frame out of it, but for rock crawling there's no question the lowest lift with the biggest tire is the hot ticket. I guess it's just a matter of perspective on whether you want looks or offroad performance. Just my two cents and humble opinion.

Yeah I know about the center of gravity thing. But think about it I live in mobile Alabama not the rockiest place in the united states. check lockitupoffroad.net these are the guys I go on rides with. There the ones I will be offroading with when I finish my truck.
