I have a 84' Hi-Lux. I dont remember if they come stock with 31's. Thats what it has on it right now and plenty of room for 33's. The tire sizes on the door jam are all wierd sizes like the old bias tires. Anyone have a clue??

Plug those "weird sizes" on the door jam into one of the online tire size conversion tables and you'll learn how tall the stock tires were.

they came stock with 235-75R-15 which equates to about a 31X9.5 tire i believe i was thinking about putting the stock FJC wheels from my dad's on my truck with 265-75R-17 tires but then i went 4X4ing and got stuck enough because of suspension needs that i realized that i would need just a little bit of lift to get any real off road use out of them. but otherwise they would fit fine. also i didn't them on because they're alloys and i want steels i think and i don't have any money to buy new tires.

It has add a leafs in the rear and the front springs are arched a little more than stock. On most stock ones I have seen the front leafs are flat. It has just over 8'' between the top of the front fender and the tire.

I dont think its a hi- lux. It just sits up high and rides rough down the road with new shocks. Anyone have a stock truck with stock tires? I want to know how many inches you have from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender.
