ok so i know that cross over and hi steer are the way to go. but i dont have the money for that right now, and i want to take my truck out as much as possible. so my plan was to go ahead and order the axle relocation kit from all pro and move my axle forward. and with my stock power steering setup im going to have to cut the push/pull steering link, and the link that goes from the top of the axle to the frame. i plan to wrap them in sch. 80 and weld them up once i have cut and shortened them. my question is how bad of an idea is this? it is my daily driver so i dont want to screw it up too bad, but i want to stop getting into my inner fenders.
