AC////it blows cold

You guys will not beleave this but I sware it true..When I got this 1983 many issues..and been workin on them...after getting threw most I was bored at the shop and their was no ac belt on the truck. i pulled it in ITS AN 83 remeber that now, been sitting in a pasture for 2 years..just outta curiousity, i put the gauges to it.. had a full load in it Recovered it, pulled a vacuum, went down to 29 hg.....I was shocked..I let it sit for about an hour while I worked ion a d**m lumina that tried to kick my tail. Low and behold the vacuum held. Got a belt from carquest, put it on, cranked up recharged system and the Factory air works great. I had to adjust the amplifier(ac amplifir) not the Radio...it sucks..but anyhow BLOWS COLD AS ALL GET OUT I WAS SHOCKED..so now me and my boy have some cool air instead of this 90 degree humidity hot as hell weather....Just wanted to share that..not sure why, but after all the electrical issues on my 4X it was nice to have an easy fix....that was a week ago and still no problems(knockin on wood desk as I type)...Later guys Good wheelin

The seals must have help up pretty well. The truck I just baught hasnt been started in 5yrs and I opened the rediator cap and it still had pressure in the system. I thaught that was amazing.

I shot a can of oil in it a week before all that went down left that out of my story..other than that all true, and I checked today the pressure still up and all is well..

Blower kinda weak, I am looking for an in line blower system like I had on my vws back in the day, blower works fine and I have sealed up all the leaks but the thing still wont blow like todays cas..you know what I mean....love it though..my truck is kickin ars here in town could have sold it more times times than its been driven...gotta park in back yard to keep folks from stopping and asking bout it
