I wondering this b/c I have a wrecked tacoma 4x4 I rolled about 5 times 2 years ago and the engine is still in perfect condition. Would I have to use the taco trans? What about the transfercase is it even on the right side for a early yota? Just wondering my dad mentioned it and it sounded like a good idea.

Yeah I know and I'm not knowledgeable with motors at all. I would like to do the swap but I know its going to be a lil to much more me so I guess I'll just fix up the lil 22R. It smokes but runs.
