My buddy is scrapping out a 88 isuzu and I was wondering if the lockouts are the same as yotas. They are aisin hubs and look similar. I can get them for free, so if they are the same ist a good deal. I dont know if the internals are the same. I know the nissans are six lug same as yotas but dont know it isuzu's are the same bolt pattern, if that makes any difference.

If you mean 6 lug wheels, yes, Isuzus are the same bolt pattern as Toyotas, but that has nothing to do with locking hubs. The key issue here is spline count. That's why you can't run hubs from an IFS Toyota (86+) on a solid axle Toy, the axle shafts have a different spline count.
