hey guys i just joined. i have an '82 toyota 4x4 w/the 5 speed. ~3 inch susp lift and 31s on it now. has the 22R motor. my question, after reviewing the Haynes manual, is can i run my emissions control system's tubing in the manner shown in the manual for the 1982 Canada 4WD layout. it is much simpler and thats what im looking to do here. anyone ever experience any negatives when do this or something similar?
thanks cory

I have a Canadian 82 and mine runs perfect. I think there is a total of 6 vaccum lines or something like that. Runs perfectly.

You may not pass emissions testing if you have it where you live.

My mileage is pretty good. On the highway I can get 25mpg going easy on it. And it never could have changed as it has always been this way. Its a Canadian truck. Its the way they came.

I've done alot for mileage. Got 235 tires, header, 2 inch exhaust, electric fan through an auto thermo switch, the motor is rebuilt, and a few other things I can't think of at the moment. Well rebuilt and tuned carb and the K&N filter, which did make a difference. When I put it in with the old filter it idled at 700 right after the filter was 1100 so it was letting more air in.
