I'm upgrading my brakes on my 85 runner with a 88 rear end. i went with LC rotors and v6 calipers! my ? is will the master cyl and booster off my 92 v6 parts truck work. the booster is 9 3/4 and has dual diaphragm and the MC has a 1" bore vise the the 85 setup which is 9 1/2 booster and single diaphragm and the MC has i think 13/16 bore. thanks MUD!

Normally for the brake up grade you just need to change to the bigger bore MC, but it never hurts to up grade the power booster too while you're there and already have them. If you had to buy them I'd just go with the MC.

You don't have to change the MC.
I run the same setup on my 84 Runner and the stock MC works just fine stopping 36's. You just gotta remember it's not going to stop on a dime not matter what you do.
Try it w/the stock MC a while before you go switching things.

Thanks for the inputs guys! I figured i'm going up in tire size from 35's to aleast 38's and want to have a set of brakes that will work a little better than in the past!

well this is a bitch! got my rebuilt front end with all my brake upgrades installed on the runner and my rims will not clear the the darn v6 calipers! the only good thing is i have another set of rims but they are 15x8. i guess i'm going to have to buy a set of spacers for the front end! OBOY!! i just wish my pockets were a little deeper!!!
