Well it took me almost 10 years of wheeling my 85 to finally break it in. Unlike any other roll overs I've been in or done, this one almost felt like I was in a slow motion movie. I might have been able to avoid it by cranking the wheels the other way with a quick punch of the gas as I've done before, but I decide to just let this one go over cuz if it didn't work out on this one then it would have rolled over faster and harder, which wasn't a problem. It was the 500' of solid rock hill that I might have rolled down that I didn't care for. And even though I had to swallow my pride to let a j**p winch me back over, I still felt better then would have at the bottom of the hill.
This was the way I started the weekend, but it didn't stop me from wheeling the rest of the weekend. Although after a while I thought that I needed to paint my truck like the General Lee after climbing in and out of it a few times.
Here's a few pics of the aftermath.
Other then the body damage all that I broke was one of the blade to my e-fan and blew the fuse to the e-fan.

You dont have to paint your truck like the General Lee, you just have to say "ON THE DUKES" everytime you climb in. Welcome to club floppsy, pull up an exo and stay awhile.

Its all downhill from here. The next one won't hurt near as bad. I'm just glad it wasn't all down hill then. The damage is all part of the sport, it should never hurt.
You dont have to paint your truck like the General Lee, you just have to say "ON THE DUKES" everytime you climb in. Welcome to club floppsy, pull up an exo and stay awhile. I'll remember that next time. The only problem I be having is jumbing high enough to slide across the hood too. Thank for the welcoming, but I'll never do a exo on it unless it ever retires to only off road. Not sure what I'm going to be doing with the door (or cab) just yet. Thanks for the offer on the garnish piece. If I can't find one local I'll let you know. I did it on the Rubicon at a place called the Slabs just before the Granite Bowl. It was all the woman's fault... she flashed me ;D

Well I got it back together and wheeling again back at the end of November. Did a couple trips to the snow and it felt good to be driving it again. It looks a little beat up, but hey that's life. Here's a few pics of the repairs so far.
Here you can see I now have a newer weaker (thinner metal) 86 door which I had to move the bolt holes forward for the door mirror.
Here I had to cut out the triple wall in order to push the cab back into place, then re-weld the triple wall back together.
And it just wouldn't be complete without a new ToyotaOffRoad.com sticker.
And thanks to Hoodlum for the new bonus sticker (lower right) he sent to me also.

Deadly, I must say, much credo to the "fix" job. I'm a little concerned about the outer door skin though.... Looks kinda like my head when I shave it with a dull razor!
So was this a roll cage convincing moment for you or do you feel your cab seam job will keep your head (remaining) intact to your neck?
