I just bought an 85 truck with 31" tires. The guy said that it used to have 33's on it and the small lift was installed a an offroad shop. It is not a body lift and there are no blocks under the leafs. I was wondering what the most poswsible excplanation of trhe lift was. Add a leafs? Or do they just sit high stock? Any Information would be greatly appreciated ;D

Could be AALs or could be complete spring packs.

you can usually tell if it is add a leafs... they are real beefy.. look for one of the leafs to be pretty thick in comparison to the rest of them..on the bottom, if there isn't a thicker leaf and the front ones are arched at all. then they are more likely an entire leaf pack.. and for the rears' same idea with looking for the thick leaf... and the factory leaf spring had a straight overload leaf.. if that is not there and no thick leaf on the bottom, then most likely an entire leaf pack
