I just picked up an 84 Celica GTS for $250. It has a complete early 22re. I am planning to put the fuel injection system on my 83 22r. Does anyone have any good links to this conversion? I have a parts truck 85 4runner with no engine, but it does have the fuel tank and fuel lines.

It is in really rough condition inside and out. Not to mention it is an automatic. Looks like someone salvaged the wiring harness for their own project. I have already taken the tank off and I will be taking the fuel lines off asap. Once that is done I am going to sell it and hopefully get some $ for the two tops it has and the axles. Turns out the Celica is in pretty rough shape too. Looks like it jumped a timing chain cog. I have pulled the top end off the car and I am currently hoping LC Engineering will give me a deal on a early EFI head or rebuild mine if I give them a 20R head and intake, plus my LC street performer carb head and the EFI head out of the Celica. Otherwise I am going to look into getting the work done on the Celica 22re head or dropping the project altogether until I can do a 4.3 Chevy, 2.7 Tacoma, or 350 Fuel Injected swap down the road. I would love to keep the 83 as vintage as I can i.e. early Toyota. It is driving really well right now with the Weber in it, I don't want months of down time working all this out. I am piling up vehicles and parts and getting nowhere!!!
