I just got done with a 3inch bodt lift and can not get the shifter boot to act right any help would be great.

I'm guessing you didn't extend the shifters by 3", which would cause interference with the boot when shifting.
Some people flip the boot over and install it.

You can bend the shifter by putting it in a vise and using a pipe to bend it. If you just need a little bit more room you can use a pipe on the shifter while it's still installed on the trans or t-case to do small adjustments.

Thanks for the help but I have deastroyed/cut my shifter boot so I guess I will be making a trip to the junk yard.
