I just finished up a shifting switch setup for my '92 A340 in my '82 project. First run last night and it all worked. I used a couple switches, a few diodes and a relay to get it all together and of course a few LED's for gear selection indicators. I have to get the throttle pressure cable(?) hooked up to the Weber but that should be done in a couple days. This will be a great truck for the annual 1-1-08 snow run. RD

I just finished upgrade #1, I replaced the swithes am using PLC to control the trans shifting. I made a switch box that is on the steering wheel for shifting, one button for upshift and one button for downshifting. This is awesome, Phase #2 will be programming the PLC to shift from either engine rpm or vehicle speed.

Here's a photo of the shift buttons on the steering wheel, the RSS controller is mounted under the dash. This is a sweet way to shift the A340.

First time I saw this. Definitely very interesting. Got any more pics and/or information on this?
