If I crank it everyday I have to hit the gas about 4 times. If I let it sit for a week I have to hit the gas about 10 times. And I just let it sit for 2 weeks and hit the gas about 20 times and it wouldn't do nothing? I shot a squirt of starting fluid in it and it fired up like a new one?

When you drive it and tromp on it does it sputter and then move or go right away? Could be an accelerator pump problem. It is what squirts the gas into the throat in the carb. Its and easy one to fix if its the problem. Just 3 screws if I remember correctly.

have you checked to see if the choke is working! on my wifes 86 V8 toy and my father in laws heep you have to do the same thing being that the chokes don't work unless you do it by hand. just my $.02!
