my friend needed a short block timing chan cover and i thought that i had one cuz it was an 82 22r but when we measured the block and it was taller than my old 85 block and taller than a fuel injected block. And the 85s chain cover was also to tall but the feul injection motor was the same so we robbed it does anyone know why this would be that the 82 was way to tall the 85 was in the middle and the fuel injection was perfect
