I'm wondering if any of you out there have ever replaced a dash in your 84-88 truck/runner. I just purchased an '85, which has a big crack in the dash. I would like to either repair it or just "swap out" the dash if it is feasible. Anyone's expertise in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Replacing an entire dash is a s&*t load of work.

I did some research and found a few companies that do "dash covers"
I'm looking into it now.

I put a dash cover in mine, most people would never be able to tell the difference. Too bad your in Hawaii, I have a 85 4runner dash cover in the garage still in the plastic.

changing the top part of the dash is an easy job if you'r good on manual work, I changed my dash on my 85 runner and you could do it in max 2 hours. good luck
