what size and type of tubing does most people do their cages and bumpers out of, and what size and type on the rear link suspension, i seen somewhere that a guy slid smaller DOM into larger DOM for a superstrength on his 4 link rear---said it was bulletproof

My cage is gonna be out of 1 3/4" welded tubing and I'm doing my bumper and links out of DOM...I'm thinking about sliding some 1 1/2x1/4" DOM inside my 2"x1/4" lower links just for added strength IDK yet

The two popular choices are HREW and DOM. HREW is cheaper, DOM is stronger. Use what you can afford. Generally people use 1 3/4 tube with a mininum .120 wall thickness but .180 i think is worth the extra weight for cages. Bumpers and sliders 1 1/2 is popular as well.
For links stick with DOM. If you want to double it up use 1 1/2x.250" tube with 1x.250" tube tucked inside. I would only bother doing this on lower links as its of little advantage on uppers.
