I still haven't got lockers in my rig yet and get around on the rock pretty well, but then I also have dual T/C's. The main reason I don't have lockers yet is cuz I don't want auto lockers. I drive my truck like a race car sometimes and don't want to have to take my foot off the gas every time I go around a corner. When I do get the time and $$ I will be putting in some ARB lockers.
Don't get me wrong, lockers are definently a good thing to have and to start off with putting in your truck.

There is a rock pile I climb that absouletly can not be done without the locker engaged. I have tried. There is a point when mounting the pile when a back tire is coming off the ground, no matter how you approach it. No locker, no climb. The boulders are too big and the approach is too technical to cheat and use momentum.
That being said I wheeled the crap out of my truck before getting a locker and with 31's there was no where I could go that I needed it really, though I'm sure it would have helped.
