i have a 90 22re pickup and i got stuck with it the other day, i put it into 4wd and stalled it twice in first gear trying to move, i floored the gas and the third time i got out but came very close to stalling again, any suggestions on how to remedy this?

how bad were you stuck and how? if you were frame-deep in mud, the mighty 22RE is probably not quite mighty enough to easily get you out of something like that. if the engine seems to have normal power, but it's just not enough, i would suggest either some upgrades (intake, cam, exaust, etc...) or maybe consider an engine swap... do some searching here on the board for power upgrades, if it feels like that's what you need. lotsa info about that

i really wasn't that stuck, i was driving through a field of snow, about 10-12 inches deep, i almost didnt make it out because the engine sounded like it was going to quit.

sounds like a mechanical problem to me...not a lack of power if it is stalling out...

you need to gear down to get more power or tall narrow tries are good in snow.

depends on the snow. where we go narrow tires= stuck. if it is deep u want a wide tire thats aired down to float on top of the snow
