Ok so i'm looking for a recomendation, i have a 05 4cyl 4wd, it doesn't have a lsd, and i'm wondering if i would be better served by getting a lsd or going to a locker... i'm not going to lift it, and wont be towing anything. just more aggressive tires, but it'll see a fair amout of back country and i wanna make sure traction wont be a hold up...

i am assuming with a 2005 you will not be wheeling very hard... i would go with a locker that can be turned on and off such as an ARB or either lsd... i wouldnt want a full time locker on a brand new daily driver... but it all depends on how hard you are going to wheel your truck... have a buddy with a brand new tocoma that he lifted a total of 10 inches and runs 39.5 iroks with both ends locked with detroits... he has tons of dents and doesnt care...
