what special tools would I need to install an auburn or e-locker, tru-trak, etc. Do I have to take the whole axle off my rig for this job on my '93 pickup 8in. rear. and finally the overall difficultness and time of the job. I'm sorry if this gets asked alot. Thanks.

all new bearings showul be installed. u are goin to need a press and a dial indicator. also u are goin to need air tools.
u have to pull the 3rd member. its easy dont worry about that. its the re setting up gears that is hard. i take it you have never set up a diff before. i would pay to have someone install it but thats just me
