Dual Transfer question.

Do you have to have identical transfer cases when going dual?

I have a manual 5spd tranny in my truck and a buddy has a parts truck with a 4spd that I can have his transfr case out of.

Would there be any issues with that or is that just something I specify when purchasing a kit for it?

my t case came from a 4 speed. it just has to be top shifing gear drive t case. or a forward shifting one with new shift rails. Have u looked on the marlin crawler web site
