I am thinking about doing an engine swap and removing my 4cyl and putting in a 350. if anyone has done this can they give me an idea of how much the full set up is going to be and the best place to get it. thanks

Are you planning on going EFI? or Carb? Each one is going to be drastically different overall not only money wise but difficulty too! I looked into doing a swap about 3.5 years ago and the prices were lookin at around 2500 bucks or so. But i was gonna do EFI due to my state laws saying i have to use an engine that is my model year or newer for emissions reasons.

thanks guys. i am gonna go carb since i already have the motor and it is already been rebuilt and i bought the full 350 kit from advanceadapters it ran me 1725.34

What all did they give you in the full kit as you say? To me that seems kinda pricey! I just wanted to know what all is included.

the full kit included set of motor mounts, a clutch a 153 tooth fly wheel, custom slave cylinder, bell housing, flat face throw out bearing, a radiator that is three inches longer then stock for cooling purposes, pressure plate. the bellhousing adapter was 450 the radiator 230 the full clutch assembly was about 400 motor mounts were like 175, the flat face throw out bearing was 33.00 i also got a set of custom made headers that do not rub the steering column that were about 300 and then the rest was shipping costs.

and that's just for the basic parts, then there are tons of misc parts, and labor.

what other types of parts can you think of that i would need? any info would be a huge help since i am gonna take my daily driver out of commission i dont want it to be down for a long period of time due to not having certain parts
