;D Hey i was wondering what would be a good ratio for a set of 35's with an auto trans and a currently stock V6 .. i was thinking 5:29's any comments

5:29'S will work just fine.

With an auto 5.71s would be better than 5.29s. And don't be taken in by the old wives tale that they're weak.

heres a ratio new tire size divided by old tire size times current axle ratio equals new gear ratio closest thing to what comes out will take it back to stock next numerically higher ratio will put you at performance/towing

I disagree on the 5.71's not being weak. I use to run 5.71's in my old 4runner and I broke one set every year. At first I thought I set them up wrong but then I bought a complete third from Randy's (at least I think it was Randy's) and his didn't last any longer. Beware the 5.71.
