does this sound like a bad combo? 35"s + IFS +5.29's + and an aussie locker?
Ive been looking into getting one for my front 7.5" but i dont know if I'll be poping CV joints all the time. mostly mud for me with some dirt/clay trails nothing like tellico or the con, just florida terrian.
anyone think I'll break stuff?

I do also. For the front of a IFS a selectable locker is more ideal more expensive but a little easier on the front end. Keeping a IFS locked (I know it has ratcheting caracteristics) you are going to be replacing parts very often. I had this dilema last year but bit the bullet and went with ARB and don't regret the extra time it took to save up the $. IMO

He'd prob break less with the front locked in the mud going straight. I snapped a CV when spinning hard in the mud, then suddenly grabbed traction with the one wheel in front that was spinning. I'd be more worried about the 35's and IFS than the locker. But, this all goes back to driving etiquette. After breaking many parts on many vehicles, I started driving smart. I looked at the challenge as to not break things VS go up/through things.
"anyone think I'll break stuff?"
YES. 7.5 + 5.29 + 35's = broken "stuff"

And I wheel it hard. You just have to be a little careful. Don't get on it when the wheel is turned to full lock, or bound up, etc. An LSD should't be a problem.

"Don't get on it when the wheel is turned to full lock, or bound up"
Nicely put. Believe it of not, you can actually feel sh*t before it breaks.
Wow. I thought it was normal when my truck felt like it was going to twist itself in half....
Listen up all you Newbies.
