Just wondering where you guys prefer to get your gears, Im looking to buy some 5:71s for my 85 toyota 8" and some install kits. Dont wanna buy from a bunk place

Randy's... Or Marlin or All Pro which I believe both get theirs from Randy's

What is the average price for gears + install from a shop? And is it cheaper to buy online and pay the shop? I am try to get some 4.88's front and rear installed.

Unless the price have gone upin the last year..... if you have to have someone install the gears for you it's will cost you about the same price as if you bought a complete third member with the gears you want.
ring and pinion $100 ea. bearing set $80-$100 ea. labor $150 ea.
