Anyone catch the show on the History Channel last night? It was all about the history of the modern 4x4. Some wild stuff on there. I was really impressed by the Land Rover. I had no idea that thing could do all that.

I didn't catch that show, I wish I had. I agree though about Land Rover, they have alot of off-roading capabilities , even when they are stock. Alot of people consider them as one of the "ultimate 4x4's".

Went wheelin at a place called Coal Creek last December. We had a friend come and bring his Land Rover he was leasing. That thing did great even with stock highway tires. The only thing is he broke all the front bumper and fog lights. Spent $2K getting it fixed. They might be great offroad but they sure don't build the ground effects for it.

yeai ive seen the show about 90 times, it was made a few years ago. My freind has a 93 landrover discovery that is great off road. the onlything it has is some shox from a defender, and all terain tires on it.
