i have a 2006 LC pick-up 4.2 l diesel,which has been converted into a motorhome. could i put a double wheeled axel at the back to compensate for the over hang caused by body shell,if so would this also give the vehicle better traction,would i have to fit adiff lock? Please help!!!!

You mean one of these ? You should be able to if you can find the axle, or a dual wheel conversion kit for the stock axle. You'll get increased traction and payload rating.

It's doubtful, anyone here could point you in the right direction, cause I'm guessing you're somewhere down under. We don't have anything like that here in the states.

Keep in mind, there is someone driving around here daily with a F*rd ranger w/duals, that I see.
If you can get duals for a ranger, You can get them for a Toy.

u-haul uses a dually rear under there yota moving trucks. i think they have a large 5 lug bolt pattern. i figure the r&p would be atleast an "8". just my $.02! later!

People, he's in South Africa, they don't have JCWhitney or U-Haul there (at least I don't think so).
