Dude!!! Funny that you mention it. I am smack dab in the middle of doing just that, for the first time. I would highly recommend that you do a crap load of research on it before you loosen the first bolt. I don't know what you will need for the IFS front end to take the 3rd member out as far as breaking down the IFS CV axles but chances are 100% that you will need more than you have to do it. Once you take the 3rd members out you will need a couple of speciality tools that most people don't have like a dial indicator, a press, and a bearing puller or separator. I am doing it myself simply because when it is all said and done, I want to be able to say, " I was the guy that did this!!" I wouldn't recommend trying it if it is your daily driver, but I highly recommend it if you are the sort of person that prides themselves on getting'r done! I just moments ago finished with the perfect ring pattern, with the perfect backlash, with the perfect carrier bearing and pinion preload and I couldn't be happier that I did it myself! But then again, I can drive something else to work tomorrow, cause it's a long way from hitting the road.

Man i wouldn't attempt that myself. The setup of the gears if the very very important. It there not right they will make a whining noise or worse and won't last very long. Save the money and buy your parts but it will be best to let a shop do it. Unless you have tons of time and don't mind buying all the tools.

Zuk's install info led me thru it as well! I now have all the tools for this type of install except for an in/lb torque wrench which I opted not to wait several days to order one. I also went one step further and cut and turned my knuckles, so I have a killer pipe cutter now as well. My third member should point conveniently at the transfer case for the front axle. I added diff armor, knuckle gussets, and an axle gusset. I purchased a ubolt eliminator kit from All Pro which is designed for the rear axle that I did a small amount of fab work to use on the front. I will need one ubolt only for the front axle. This is a bit off topic but I am excited!
