If you are replacing the entire third member you won't need anything else except some rtv, brake fluid, and gear oil for the back, new inner axle seals aren't a bad idea though because you will have to take out the axle shafts. You can pull the axles out far enough to get the third out without disconnecting the brake lines, but I did it anyway to get the axles all the way out. For the front you will either need to hope you don't ruin any of the knuckle seals taking them apart to get the axles out or you will need a new seal kit which is the smart thing, plus gear oil, plus grease, plus special tools to dissasemble the knuckles, plus a decent amount of patience and knowledge. Look it up with google and do alot of research before you buy anything, its a fair amount of work to get the front third member out without taking alot of shortcuts or screwing something important up. And yes, if you change the gears on the back, you will need to change the gears on the front.
