kind of an off the wall question i guess.. but would one be able to mount a divorced transfer case in reverse.. or would something be going in revers instead of forward? lol
question is based off of a tandem axle concept, without using some monsterous heavy duty mack truck sized/military truck axles.. i can't google search any good results besides some wierd tandem axle rides other people come up with.. but just pictures.
so instead of the divorced transfer case having input with an output on the same side and an output straight through to the other side.. if it was mounted backwards with the output being the input it would have the out put(which is supposed to be the input) straight through and the other output pointed in the same direction. then use a two piece drive shaft for the second axle to give a little flex room above the first rear axle
well.. just the retarded crap i come up with sometimes, so anyone who knows their gearing/ divorced transfer cases help put my mind at ease- thanks

It would work if you kept the case in high range only. If you put it into low, the new input and one of the outputs will spin at the same speed and the other output will spin faster. Sounds like a cool idea.
