Hey, any of you guys ever installed a 3 inch Performance Accessories body lift on a 4wd T100? If so, did you run into any problems?

I have a three inch body lift on my T100. The only problem I had with the lift was that you have to cut away where your manul stick shift comes out from Tranny To accomidate the three inches. But besides it works fine. squeezed 33 x 12.5s

I just put in a 3 in lift in my 95 ext. cab t100, one small issue I had was the bolts supplied for the cab. Two were too long, needed to get 2 - 7 in versus using the 8 in supplied. That was for the 2 in the back of the cab.

i want to put a 3 in lift on my 93 T100. Some people say that the ifs is crap and go with a straight axle. Do you have to cut all the ifs components off the frame to put the leafes on? Well tell me some ideas. Also some people said that if you lift it with the IFS that i would need longer axels and ive already replaced the right and i aint lookin foward to it a second time.

Don't worry about putting a straight axle on your T100! Go with the 3" body lift or a 4" suspension lift and try to find a legal trail where your truck can't take you. You could buy an old SA truck or 4Runner quicker and for less money than a SA swap in a T100 would cost you. For 90% of the legal places to wheel in this country you can do it with IFS. The other 10% of the places you'll probably need a smaller vehicle than the T100 to wheel the trails anyway. There are not a lot of aftermarket mods for the T100 because of it's short production run and being marketed as a work truck. However it is extremely capable off road and can be made even better with a few tweeks. Instead of the SA, take that money and put it towards an ARB locker for the rear. I'd rather have an IFS with a locker than a SA vehicle with open diffs. Improve your handling with a set of Bilstein shocks and add some rumble and performance with a Jardine exhaust system. T100's also look really good on 33" tires if you get the lift. Don't fall for that "IFS is crap" talk you'll read on the net from people who have to over-modify their rigs to compensate for their lack of driving skills. Drive what you have until it breaks, then fix it and wheel it some more. You'll have more fun, develop some skills and save a ton of money. *My other truck - '97 T100 with a TRD supercharger - ARB rear locker - in cab adjustable Rancho 9K's - Rancho Steering Stabilizer - 26MM Sway Away Torsion Bars - RockStomper skid plate - Dynomax Turbo muffler w/ a Hi-Flo cat - etc. img.photobucket.com/albums/v142/kcowyo/P1010073.jpg[/img] img.photobucket.com/albums/v142/kcowyo/turn2.jpg [/img]
