I just bought the 04 Tundra Dbl Cab 4x4 and want to lift it 4" or so. The only lift I can find is the Tuff Country 4.5" lift, but no nothing about it. Any suggestions? Also, does anyone know if the 03 lifts for the 4x4 tundra xcab will be compatible with the 04 dbl cab?

That tuff country 4.5" is a new lift they just put out and its the only lift around that height for a tacoma, 3.5" suspension or 6" suspension/body are the closest choices, a Tundra lift wont be compatable.

You mentioned it is for the tacoma, but on Tuff Country's website it shows the 4.5" for the Tundra. So do you think this will work for the 04 Tundra.

My bad, it looks like they make a new 4.5 for both the tundra and tacoma, good size lift, not to high, not to low.

One more thing, I dont know about putting that lift on the new tundra, although the suspension is the probably the same set-up it may not work. I would call tough country about it since it doesnt show your year.

WARNING!! I have the tough country lift and my truck looks great. However, the steering knuckles on the tundra are the same as the knuckles on a 4runner. They were never designed for a half ton truck with 4 wheel drive. I have broken 3 steering knuckles under normal driving conditions. I can't remove the lift because a cross member on the frame has to be cut out to install the lift. Toyota says I lifted the truck causing stress to the part. Tough country says our parts are good , it's the toyota part breaking. email me for pictures.
