I just had a lift done with donahoe coilovers on the front and add a leafs on the back. The shop that put this on told me I could run 35” tires with this lift. Originally he told me I would get about 4” of lift, I was lucky to get 2.5”. What makes me so mad is that now my back spacing is so screwed up I don’t have very many choices of rims and I would be lucky if I could put 33” on it. I have seen that you can stack lifts but the problem is that this is an 05 and I cant find anything available out there. There isn’t even a body lift yet (not that I want to go that route) anyone have any suggestions or am I stuck with a truck that I could have spent $300 on a leveling kit and gotten the same results for a few thousand dollars less Thanks

You can run 285/70/17 tire. If you need help call Donahoe Racing. Theyare totally cool and will help you.

Tuff country finally came out with their 05 lift. So I am going to try and stack lifts. Right now I have Total Chaos upper control arms and Donahoe racing coilovers which give me barley 2.5 inchs. I am going to add this 4.5 inch lift and then crank down the coilovers ½ to ¾ quarters of an inch to relive stress on the front axels. My goal was to run 35” tires with 20” Rims. I have not seen any Tundra’s in this area with more than a couple of inchs of lift. I ordered the lift last week and hopefully will be getting it sometime this week. Not sure how this will work beings I have asked everyone under the sun for help but I cant seem to find a soul that has done this.

Well it has been over 4 weeks since I ordered this lift and I still have not gotten it. I am not to happy with the way “The Suspension Connection” has handled this. 3 times they have told me dates in which I should have received the item and after that time passes I give them a call only to find out that it still has not been shipped. Would have been nice if they told me from the beginning that there would be issues on this item. They don’t seem the least bit concerned that I am trying to schedule a person to spend time installing this. Its not like I am just installing this lift, so my truck may be at the shop for weeks trying to alter it to accept Rims and tires. (if you read my previous info you will under stand) Just wanted to state my Frustrations about “The Suspension Connection” just in case any of you decided that you want to alter your trucks.

i work and a shop and many times when something is ordered we have to wait for the supplier to get it and the ship it. it takes time esp on something for a truck that is brand new.

After 6 months my truck is almost done. Got the rims today and only 3 of the tires. They tried one of the rims and tire on the truck and they fit. I will be running a 20 “x 10” rim with the Toyo open country MT 35” 20” 12.5 and looks to have plenty of room. Because of the backspacing I only had less than dozen rims to choose from, but hey, its almost done
