popping sounds in 95 t100

my 1995 t100 runs beautifully and i am in love with it but when you crank the wheel all the way around when going slow it makes a horrible popping sound and it really freaks me out. only when i go slow though. thanks.

Could be CV joint(s) going bad, or sometimes when the plastic cap on the steering stops wears out you get strange noises.
