I've got a 95 Prado on its way from Japan and have started buying parts to kit it out. The agent couldn't tell me if the 95 Prado came out with Factory Rear Lockers. Anyone know. Cheers

$NZ20,000 about $US14200. Saved about 6K bringing it in myself. Price includes all the import certification. They are really tough on that over here. (New Zealand or Middle Earth if you are A Lord of the Rings Fan) Cheers

The Truck arrived this week and its a beauty. Already bought the Super Swamper Tyres 33 inch and have lifted the body 2 inches. Hopefully a 2 inch suspension lift next week. Bull bars and side bars the week after Easter with front and rear lockers in about the same time. The Snorkel has arrived ready to be fitted. The GPS is all configured. Now all I have to do is find some time to ENJOY. Can't wait

That sounds awesome. Definately gonna want to see some pictures of that one. I have some friends from New Zealand and others who have been there and I think it is some of the most amazing areas in the world. I know you'll have a good time with your new truck.

Thanks Snorkelman. Took a look at your web page. Thats an awesome looking truck you have. Is it street legal as well as off road. In New Zealand the Tyres are not allowed to extend beyond the Body. If you raise the truck the centre of gravity all changes as we have to keep the wheels inside the body width. Theres some great pics on our club 4wd site. Some fantastic places to go. Within 50 miles of my home there is at least 100 tracks with about 1000 miles of track. I will have to find out how to post a photo or 2 on this site. Cheers

Trucks cominig on real good. People even stopping me in the street to talk about the truck.
Got a 2" body lift and a 2" suspension lift and 33" Khomo Mud tyres on it for every day use and a set of Super Swamper TSL/EX 33x14.5x15 for Mud trips. The Bull bars are real solid. 95kg of steel in them including side and rear bars. Got the snorkel fitted and Detroit lockers going in next week. First big trip next weekend. Mud MUd MUD Still looking for a winch. But will have to wait a bit. I've spent heaps of $s on it in the 8 weeks I had it. Gotta learn how to put pic on here.
