my cousin has a mid 90's cruzer with arb lockers f&r.he can only engage them in 4 lo.is there a mod that will allow him to engage them in 4 hi also?

shouldn't he be able to engage then anytime? I thought that the gearing on the transfer case would have no effect on the lockers. Weird..

No but the gears in the difs won't like it very much.I have ARB's in my Tacoma and I have never enguaged them while driving.I have dis-enguaged them but only going maybe 5 to 10 MPH and going in a straight line.The lock pins will shear and will most likely granade the locker.Sometimes I will turn the switch off but the locker itself will not dis-enguage until I come to a complete stop. |
