thanks for the warm welcome, the swap is going pretty good so far, just the normal snafoos and of course the budget spiraled out of control real quickly ;D. the 350 is about ready to be dropped in, im using the stock toyota motor mounts, then i drilled some holes in a 3/8" plate steel to make the holes line up. The sas is also in progress, as im writting this im waiting for a welder to come over and weld in the Sky manufacturing hangers in. I tried but the hangers are so much thicker than the frame, my 110 mig just melted the frame and not the hangers at all. the rear lift is in, its pretty big, however i want it bigger . if anyone wants some pics just ask for a specific one and ill hook it up

Senator, if you are already snapping photos, why not do a write up for us? I could post it up as a feature article.
Let me know...

WELCOME ABOARD Senator. I agree that a write-up would be great if you're up to it. Even though we already have one from Snorkle's SAS they are never the same. Everyone always has there own ideas or little twists that they want to throw in. Some good, some bad, and some bad made good by mixing with others good/bad ones. Now I'm starting to sound a little , but you what I mean.......... I hope.

What kind of diamond plating are you looking for....are you looking for sheets of it, or stuff that's already bent....if you're looking for stuff that's already bent....good luck . If you have a yellow pages...look up metal supply and you should get some metal shops....they sell it in sheets like plywood and you can do all the work yourself...or you can look up metal fabrication in the phone book and then find a fabricating shop....sometimes the people who sell the metal know who to go to for a good fabrication....last time i check here in Austin, Tx it was about 100 dollars a sheet.....so I would plan exaclty how much you need. That was for black diamond plating also.....usually the chromed is more expensive.

You could probably find someone to do the wheel wells and rockers for you....but I think you'll pay a pretty penny.

or, to save you all that time and money looking for someone to make the rockers for you, you could go to www.everythingoffroad.com/ , click on 'exterior accessories', click on 'rocker panels' (at the bottom), click on 'truck/suv rocker panels', and select 'Toyota'... they have both stainless steel and treadbrite (diamond plate) styles for $90.... hope that helps!

Hey senator, If you want to find out about posting pics go to the IMPORTANT IMFORMATION INSIDE forum. It will explan how to do it plus a few other things. Here the link to it. mkelly.proboards22.com/index.cgi?board=readme
As far as doing a write up you can use MS Word and then e-mail it to Mike and he can put it up on to the site. After e-mailing him it's a good idea to send him a quick PM too just let him know about it and that's it's save to open cuz of all the BS that has been going around the net.
