Well my rig is a 1985 4RUNNER that has seen some of the narliest terrain ALASKA has to offer , and it has the body damage to prove it . It is mostly stock sept for 5" skyjacker and general muds . Need some drivetrain work, but w/almost 200,000 on original everything it is still daily driver and will go where I point it (having no reverse for a couple years have honed my skills). I am back in AL now and it is not a place for wheeling . I cant even find parts in salvage yards . I keep my nose in every off road mag . and stumbled across an editoral about this site , and it rocks !

why yes dothan alabama to be exact . before i went north there were a couple of real good logging roads and an awsome clay pit , but now there is a strip mall where the trails were and a prison near the clay pit which is now fenced off . it seems around here that if the state doesnt have it fenced someone posts it no tresspassing . i have spent some years in the army and i am familier with the terrain at fort rucker but havent had a chance to see if it is still open to the public for use . i know of the trails they use to train in hmmves and tanks . we would romp them in the older cutvees . yes i do have some pics but i am comp illiterate
