Hey everyone, This is Eric from Richmond, VA. ILUVDRT from the USMB referred me to this place.
So anyway, I have a '97 Tacoma which is the nicest truck I've ever owned. I got it used off of a dealer lot, and it's still sporting some gigantic logos, fake hood scoops, and big chrome wheels/low profile tires that an enthusiastic previous owner had installed. Yippee.
So anyway, I'm glad to have jumped on board. I'll hang around for a while, if no one minds.

Hey Nug... welcome!
Sorry to hear about your rig... at least it is a Toy though. Get all that crap off of there and post up some before and after pics!
See ya 'round! Mike

Welcome aboard.
Yeah, really feel sorry for your rig..... even more if it's a 4x4. Kindda reminds me of a full 76 Chevy 4x4 I use to have. Sold the rims and tires that were on it and didn't have the new ones for it yet. So it was sitting on set of stock rims and tires for a 2WD Toyota that I happen to have laying around. Boy was it a sad sight to see.
Anywho, have fun and hope you enjoy your stay.

I'm afraid of pulling the scoops off. How tenacious is Toyota paint? I don't want to mess it up. They wouldn't be too bad if the paint on them matched the rest of the truck. The tires are 285 60 R17 Toyo Proxes. They would be good on a vette or something. They do handle well, though. I'll probably leave them on there until they wear off. The stickers and logos are actively being removed.

Welcome to the board Nug. You should head over to the 96+ section to ask about your starter problem..., if you haven't fixed it yet.
