Hello, Well, I guess I'll tell you a little about myself and my yota. I'm 18 years old, I live in western Pennsylvania, and I'm going to Penn State for Mechanical Engineering Technology. I don't know a whole ton of stuff about trucks in general, but with every part that breaks and I replace I do get to learn a little bit more. My truck is a 1992 dlx short bed. It's an automatic, with the 22-re. I've taken pretty darn good care of it, but I believe it had a pretty rough life under the previous owner. It has 127,000 miles and is currently in need of some engine repair...but that's talked about in another post. I've not done any modifications to the suspension or off road prowess, but I would like to in the futrue...so far money has been the limiting factor. I can't tell you how many times I've drooled over an issue of Four Wheeler Magazine! I think I'm having problems posting pictures...they are up on imagestation, but I can't see them in my post...sorry.

Welcome aboard. Glad you found us. One of the best way to learn how to fix your truck is to try to fix things as needed, if you know how to do it or not. I remember pulling out the manual and rebuilding my first engine (231 Buick) at 13 just to see what it was like. And to this day I still love to dig into the grease.
Good luck with your truck and hope you enjoy the site.
