hey, considering I have some toy questions 24/7 and have not been asking them in fear of flame. I figured I might just start a questions thred. I ashure you It will never end  Ok, the beggining of a neverending quest... 1. What is the lug patern on 84-86 trucks? 5 Bolt 2. Can I run a 3" bodylift with my stock tire size while waiting on my suspension lift? 3. how powerfull of a winch should i order with my ARB bumper? |

1.) They are the same as all 4wd drive toyota till 95 i think which is 6"x5.5" 2.)Yes u can run on ur bodylift, there is nothing wrong with driving on a bodylift while u wait for ur suspension lift 3.)Sorry dont know much about whiches. Laterz

The last time I checked there were 6 lug nuts that hold my tires on. Go out to your truck and look at it.

Another question, what is the angle sensor thing I have seen in a toyota or too?
What must be done to the steering systems after a lift?

What angle sensor thing?? Where do u have this or notice it?? What kind of lift are u talking about BODY or SYSPENSION??

youve never seen the angle sensors? the huge boxes on the dashboard? I dont have pics, but ive seen them.
Both suspension and Body (7")

Oh are u talking about the Clinometers or something liket that, That tell angle degrees? ? And about the steering i would say have an alignment done.

well those are used so u can know or beaware of what angle ur at so's not to tip over.

You can get a drop drag link for up to a 4" suspension lift - $80. If you go higher then that it would be best to go to a Hy-steer set-up - $200-$500, depending on what you can make yourself or if you need to buy the whole set. You can run with the stock straight drag link, but it will put more stress on the steering arm and could eventually cuz it to break.

The winch question. Rule of thumb is get one double the the weight of your vehicle. So I would say a 8000lbs winch would do for ya.

;D The "box" you refer to is a combo altitude/clinometer that was a factory option. The way I figure it, if there's no trees, I'm @ the right altitude. And if I reach out my window & touch ground immediately, then I have rolled ;D ;D Don't need no stinkin' gauges to tell me this!!! ;D As far as your lift ?'s...there is a forum for this!!! LOL!!!! I have seen articles about people adapting the old toyota clinometers to thier trucks. How do these people figure the safe driving angle in thier truck without rolling it first? ;D
