saw this site on the top 10 list of top4x4sites and thought i'd check it out. picked a new username for a new truck, on most other boards i go by bigredford04...but that truck's done....just good for parts now.



just bought a `97 Tacoma. got a good deal on it and it came w/ a bunch of stuff already done to it...2" coilovers and add-a-leaf, header, new clutch, short shifter kit, k&n filter, all the parts for a decent stereo, grille guard, KC lights, `03 Tacoma wheels....buncha stuff i might or might not've done, but its nice to have. i'll prolly be askin' a bunch of tech questions cuz all i've ever known before was that Ford. see ya'll around.

someone abruptly pulled in front of me in a parking lot. the impact caused me to smash the gas, it fishtailed around 90* until momentum and high center of gravity started working together....that. and the fact that my left from tire was on the car's hood....rolled it over. specs included: D44 SASed front w/ chevy 8 lug outers, D60 rear, 4.88s, ~10" suspension lift, 3" body lift, 40" MT/Rs on H2 wheels, rebuilt high compression 5.0, ZF 5-speed, dual batteries, MSD6AL and a bunch of other little stuff.

i think i'll slowly be putting most of the good parts on the Tacoma ;D of the million ideas running thru my head i think full width 3/4 ton axles w/ 37"s would be pimpin....other thoughts include bobbing the bed and doing the "competion cut", lengthening the wheelbase ~105-108"....and maybe w/ the full widths i'll throw in a marlin crawler until the itch for V8 power gets to me....i will have a 5.0 on standby ;D

That does look like it was a nice looking truck.........If you can get past the fact that it's a Ford ;D J/K.
