Hello, I'm from PA and used to have a few toyota's. Got married had kids and all that crap. Now I'm getting back into messing with toys. I just found a 87 for sale today and I'm thinking about buying it, I just made a post with pics of it here, mkelly.proboards22.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1172551099I'm hoping to get some good info here when I start my new project. Anyway here are a couple of my old toys.

Sweet dude, glad to have another Toy fan to help support them. They just don't get the support that they deserve. Welcome to the site. As for information, you have found the best source on the web... no... the country... no... the planet for Toyota info and techniques.

I'm in the Philly area 4xfred and cc89iroc are in the Quakertown area and rocktoy is just north of you. We are all regulars at Rausch Creek ;D

Cool, I pick up the 87 this afternoon and plan to have the rear fixed in a week or so. Let me know when you guys are heading up again. I'd like to tag along, if thats ok. Thanks Aaron

Well all of us have our rigs in pieces at the momont except for 4xfred. But we all plan on having all the work completed and on the trail by the end of March to the middle of April. After that it's going to be one hell of a year of wheeling. If you don't mind running higher rated trails and aren't worried about trail damage then by all means come along. If something was to happen we all work together and no one is left behind to vend for themselves.

I forgot that Nathan's new place is closer to Allentown than previously.

Sounds good, I have not been off road in quite a few years. My off roading used to be me and some friends going up in the mts. I grew up in Pen Argyl and the blue mountain was my "backyard". We were not saposta go up there but no one every said anything. There were lots of trails but none were marked/rated. It was mostly hill climbs, mud holes, creek crossings, etc. Nothing extreme but fun. I never did rocks, but would like to give it a whirl if you guys think my truck can handle it.

I know a couple of spots around Blue MT. I have a few friends that live in Palmerton and they know every trail in that area. They hang/work at the Blue Mt Tavern.
