what's up everyone? my name is ray, i've been in the truck scene for about 18 years now. i've had everything from lowered to lifted, mostly lowered. i just recently bought a 92 toy, 4x4, x-cab, v-6, 5 speed, for $800. i had to replace 2 brake lines & a fuel line & i just had my friend at his muffler shop throw an el cheapo muffler on it for me, for now. the truck was from pennsylvania so it has some rust damage. i'm mostly using it for a shop/work truck right now( i have a small sign/shirt business) untill i finish my other project. then this one will be my next project. LOL!!!!! here are a few pics of my past toyota's minus an 87 4-runner i had. 92 i just bought like i said it has some undercarrage rust, but i'll be slowly replacing everything. i found a guy with some control arms & a few other parts i need for dirt cheap. there is some rust around one of the rear leafspring shackles & i was thinking of running a 4-link with coils in the rear. it would be easier then fixing the frame for me. i was wondering if anyone has any pics of some 4-link setups & how the ride would be for a daily driver? i'm not looking for a lot of lift. thanks in advance.

Welcome to TOR! Glad you found and joined our site That black rig looks badass! A little too tall but still badass. What's the specs for the black one? And what's in mind for the '92 other than 4link?

thanks!!! the black was an 83 with a chevy 350sb, 350 turbo trans, np-203 case, & a chevy 1 ton rear end. in the pic it was on 44's with 18" of lift, if i remember right. i lowered it down to a 10" lift with some 40's before i sold it. it was a BEAST!!!!!! no too much right now for the white one, it's mostly for a DD/work truck untill i finish my other truck. then i'll probably tear into this one. that gives me some time to figure exactly what i want to do with it.

Sweet I also had an '85 with the chevy 350 and t350 on 38"swampers. Only I was using a Toyota t-case with the Advanced adapter. It had over 400HP and was a blast! for the short time that I had it.
