I am an old guy with an '88 plain cab, short bed, 22r-e 4x4. I am mostly interested in my truck as a hunting tool rather than crawling or mudding for kicks. I hope to glean technical stuff that you hardcore guys use, and adapt nuggets for my use. Oh, my truck is my daily commuter, too. It is plain black. I have removed almost all of the factory stripes. I took off the rear bumper, and the cheesy chrome light bar, bull bar and nerf bars. It's got the original bench seat that I intend to replace with 4runner or Corolla or Del Sol or Corbeau buckets. I run a naked floor (well, it's got a rubber mat to soak some of the road noise). I don't know the brand name of the aftermarket wheels it sports, but I'd like to obtain a fifth one for my spare. My spare for now is a standard rim for a 4runner. I'll post a pic of a wheel at some point. The truck rolls on - get this, you hardcore Puritans - 235x75Rx15 Chinese Prime Wells. They hum a little but have been excellent in the mud, on the coal gravel, on the hunting lease trails and on the highway in the rain so far. Remember, this is hunting truck, not a trail buster, so take it easy on me. I will much appreciate all the help I can get here, and happily offer what little I know. (My 20-year-old son is a rock crawling freak, but he rides a Jeep, not a 'Yota.)

This is the kind of wheel I am seeking so I can have a set of five. It's a 15x8, Toy lug pattern (of course). I've seen 'em on other vehicles, but there is no name anywhere on the rim.

Welcome to TOR. Seem like a nice rig you got there, got any (more) pics?
That rim is something like an Inky (not sure how they spell it) rim that is no longer made. I've been looking for one of those rim for a couple years with no luck; other then on someone elses truck. I have 3 3/4 of them. That 3/4s one just don't seem to like to hold air some some reason. Might be willing to sell you one. Not sure what shipping would be though, but could find out in a couple days. I'll be gone for the weekend.

Good 'un on the pebbles, dp. I'll pass it along to my boy.
As for wheels, I saw four of them, with some well-used A/T tires on board, chained to a tree in a nearby town yesterday. It was too early in the morning to stop and ask if they are for sale. I'd assume so, since they're tied out close to the road. They're six lug ...
